Scott Martin’s leadership is rooted in discipline, work ethic, and a lifelong connection to Nebraska.
He enlisted in the United States Army in 1983, completing advanced technical training in communications systems and earning a top-secret security clearance. His military service instilled the precision, accountability, and commitment to excellence that continue to guide his leadership today.
Following his active-duty service and time in the National Guard, Scott transitioned into civilian life, building more than three decades of hands-on experience as a contractor and business operator. From construction and project management to running a medical supply office, he developed deep operational expertise across multiple industries.
Driven by a desire to strengthen the regional beef supply chain, Scott immersed himself in the meat processing industry, studying every stage from harvest floor operations to packaging and distribution.
What began as research quickly evolved into action. With disciplined planning and hands-on execution, he founded Nebraska Butcher Rack with a focus on quality control, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
Today, Scott oversees daily operations with a hands-on approach, ensuring that every detail, from sourcing to final cut, meets the highest standards.
Family remains central to Scott’s mission. Together with his wife, he has built a close-knit family of eight children and eight grandchildren.
Nebraska Butcher Rack is more than a business, it is a generational commitment to hard work, American production, and the enduring values of Nebraska’s heartland.
